"Truly magnificent" - HEALTH MINISTER DAVID ASHFORD PRAISES ONCOLOGY CONCEPT

We congratulate our partner OCURA Healthcare on the successful implementation of the new oncology concept at Noble's Hospital on the Isle of Man's Island.

As the BBC reported on 09.07.2019, the newly built oncology centre on the English island of Isle of Man's is meeting with great enthusiasm. Health Minister David Ashford praised the new cancer treatment unit as "really great" and is sure that patients will receive the "best care".

The project was implemented by our long-standing partner OCURA Healthcare. The construction of the new centre started in January 2019. The heart of the centre are the special treatment chairs from GREINER GmbH and an individual colour concept for the rooms. The new facility has two treatment lounges with 15 oncology chairs, four of which are intended exclusively for haemato-oncological patients.

Each of the rooms has been designed with "colour tones and contrasts" in order to be "dementia friendly". Overall, the treatment options have been improved and the feel-good factor significantly increased.
