NEW CENTRAL ARREST (CA)
This central arrest (CA), newly developed by GREINER, allows the chair to be brought to an immediate standstill by means of a foot pedal on each rear castor. And it is just as easy to release the brake again. This provides safety in every position when using it, saves time and makes work easier. It is optionally available ex works as an accessory.
INNOVATIONS IN PATIENT TRANSPORT
With the Carryline Mobil, GREINER has developed a transport chair that meets the highest demands in terms of function, design and comfort. And since not every area of application is the same, the Carryline Mobil can be adapted to every need with individual configuration options.
The backrest with anatomical design and lateral support can be adjusted synchronously with the legrest manually or with electric motor support. Backrests can be configured and combined as desired to customise the transport and mobilisation chair according to its use. That means either the one-piece backrest with a gummed push handle, or the short backrest with cylindrically extendable bolster, or the one-piece backrest whose upper section can be tilted by approx. 100°.
Being equipped with large front disc wheels of 300 mm and braked rear castors of 125 mm, Carryline Mobil chairs can easily be pushed over sliding door guides, elevator thresholds or other barriers within a hospital. With its ergonomically shaped handle and its swivable footrest (as an accessory) Carryline Mobil has all features a transport chair for patients up to 200 kg weight should have. The armrests can be folded backwards and make a sidewise access and exit in/off the chair possible. The use of the swivelling footrest helps the patients: It lowers when the patient gets into it (e.g., when getting in and out of it) and secures the transport chair against tipping over when occupied. When not in use, it can be swivelled backwards under the chair.
The transport chair Carryline Mobil is available with fixed or height adjustable chassis. The seat height is low and a legrest with a negative incline supports getting in and out. The automatic adjustment of the seat by 10° offers a relaxed horizontal position, prevents the patient from slipping out of position and relieves the strain of the knees.

The entire model series of the Carryline was developed in Germany and is manufactured here. The basis is a sturdy steel frame, which guarantees a long life for each individual chair. It is ergonomically easy to push with a large gummed push handle, which sits directly on the one-piece backrest. The backrest with anatomical shape and lateral support is adjusted manually and synchronously with the legrest. The upholstery and covering material are also patient-friendly: the surface meets the requirements for comfort and touch, as well as the daily routine of durability, cleaning and disinfection.
