Measures to curb the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19) are currently being taken in Germany and Europe as well as in many other countries worldwide. Contact between people and travel activities are extremely restricted. Trade fairs, congresses and other events have been cancelled or postponed. This will probably affect you as well, just as it will have a major impact on our business activities.
In view of the spreading of the Corona virus, and in order to follow the recommendations of the German federal government and the state government of Baden-Württemberg, we want to make use of all possible preventive measures. In doing so, we wish to protect not only our employees, but above all you as our business partner. At the same time we will try our best to be reachable for your requests and questions.
At our headquarters in Pleidelsheim, we have taken drastic safety measures to protect the health of all employees and to enable our production to continue. For this reason, employees from all departments with customer interaction, such as sales, product training and service, will work from home if possible. The necessary technical requirements have been introduced in the past few weeks. We have expanded our infrastructure and are providing the necessary peripheral equipment.
Reaching us is guaranteed through our home office arrangements. However, we kindly ask you to be patient as it may take more time to reply to your emails. Unfortunately, we have to suspend guest visits to our company until further notice. Another way of discussing upcoming business issues is to use video conferencing. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions on this.
Furthermore we currently have to suspend work by technicians and service operations on site, as well as the provision of demo products. However we wish to maintain GREINER's willingness to deliver and perform with our usual level of service as best possible.
Our production is currently running without any limitations, and we have initiated measures at an early stage to maintain the supply chain. However, the supply chain to our customers will have to be checked and assessed on a daily basis due to the situation of international goods traffic. Unfortunately, we do not know how things will develop in the near future, which is why we will be informing you regularly about current goings-on.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your sales contact or GREINER's management board. Even if the Corona virus will be affecting our lives in the next weeks and months, we will still try to remain responsive and available to you and your concerns.
